The Office of the United States Trade Representative has announced that the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA) will take effect March 15, 2012. The two sides have exchanged diplomatic notes confirming that they have each completed their applicable legal requirements and procedures for the agreement’s entry into force.

Memphis-based Mallory Alexander International Logistics was recognized by Governor Bill Haslam with the GATE Award for excellence in global trade.  The award is designed to recognize those companies expanding Tennessee’s role in global markets.  Mallory Alexander was presented the award for the large company category.  Also recognized were Bimetallics, LLC of Fayetteville and Paradoxe Corp. of Jackson.

Memphis-based Mallory Alexander International Logistics has expanded its third-party logistics operations by acquiring Tradesource Inc. from Atlantic Services Group, Inc. Tradesource is an international freight forwarding company located in Charleston, SC.

Memphis-based Mallory Alexander International Logistics is pleased to announce they have expanded their third-party logistics operations by partnering with London-based Charles Kendall Freight to open a new office in the New York area.  The new Mallory Alexander International Logistics NY office is located in Inwood, NY.

The President's Award for Excellence in Exporting was presented to Mallory Alexander International Logistics at a ceremony attended by civic and state leaders, top exporters and Mallory Alexander staff from around the country.  The August 9 presentation was made by Presidential appointee Colleen Litkenhaus, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Domestic Operations, U.S & Foreign Commercial Service, to Neely Mallory III, President of Mallory Alexander.
