Mallory has developed a web-based management portal specifically for our customer. The portal called MyMallory is designed to deliver customized information to authorized users. Personalization occurs at user login, providing access to customized reports that can be downloaded in PDF format or viewed and printed directly from the site. MyMallory also provides links to Mallory-related and Industry news. Portal information is constantly updated and enhanced to offer our customers information that is unique to them and the business services provided to them by Mallory.
A key component of the information available to our customers who use MyMallory is the Management Dashboard. The dashboard gives authorized users access to key supply chain metrics personalized to them and the logistics services Mallory provides their company. MyMallory offers a suite of standard metrics grouped by origin, destination, trade lane, mode, carrier, and containers. In addition, Mallory does offer customers the opportunity to engage with us to develop custom metrics specifically to meet their unique requirements.
Visibility is a critical requirement in managing today’s global supply chains. Mallory understands this requirement and delivers this capability to our customers (and our customer’s customers if they so desire) through our web-based global supply chain visibility platform called MyMallorySCV.
MyMallorySCV is integrated directly with our Global Freight Management system and provides authorized users access to real-time supply chain information related to the logistics services Mallory provides their company. This includes visibility of detailed shipment header information (e.g., shipper, consignee, quantities, weights, etc.), critical tracking milestones, detailed container and packing information, transport leg details (e.g., vessel, voyage, ports, dates, etc.), and more.
For our international customers, MyMallorySCV provides authorized users access to real-time U.S. Customs declarations and entry information related to the export and import services that Mallory provides their company. This includes visibility of detailed clearance and filing information, status, and related dates.
MyMallorySCV provides full visibility and access to Order Management services performed by Mallory. This includes visibility of customer/supplier purchase orders captured at submission; visibility of order verification against supplier provided packing lists, etc.; visibility of supplier discrepancies, blanket orders, backorders, etc.; and, links to logistics and transportation services performed by Mallory.
MyMallorySCV also provides users with online access to critical documentation captured during the execution of order management, logistics, and Customs operations performed by Mallory. This documentation will include both electronic and paper documents Mallory receives and/or produces on behalf of our customers. Users can view the documents online or choose to download them as required.
In addition to visibility functions, MyMallorySCV also provides authorized users with several online capabilities such as the ability to produce and save their own AD HOC reports, the ability to do online bookings with Mallory, and much more.
Mallory utilizes a comprehensive middleware platform to handle electronic integration with our customers, carriers, logistics services providers, and other trading partners. The middleware platform performs data transformation and data translation services as well as data communications.
Mallory’s middleware platform is capable of handling both standard Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) file formats as well as XML and user defined (UDF) formats. We support ANSI x12 and EDIFACT standard EDI. Some typical x12 transaction sets we handle today include: 110, 210, 214, 300, 301, 304, 310, 315, 846, 850, 856, 940, 945, etc. Typical non-EDI formats include SAP i-Docs, flat files, and comma separated value (CSV) files, etc.
Communication capabilities deployed with our middleware platform today include point-to-point Virtual Private Network (VPN), direct (or native) connectivity, and value-added-network (VAN) provided. Transmission services and protocols supported include web services (SOA), FTP (Secure and non-secure), and AS2.
Mallory utilizes the ediEnterprise platform developed by Cargowise as the core of its global freight management solution. Our solution, simply called Enterprise, is a highly modular solution designed with extensive functionality to automate and streamline the operations and management of domestic and international supply chain services. Enterprise provides a fully integrated set of solutions which include order management, forwarding, customs house brokerage, and accounting services engaged through a highly customizable workflow management system. Enterprise has full process and communication integration directly with U.S. Customs. Also, through the use of our comprehensive middleware, Mallory’s Enterprise solution in electronically integrated with the international logistics portals (GT Nexus, INTTRA, and Cargo Smart) as well as all major steamship lines.
Mallory’s Enterprise solution is built on a true Enterprise-class Windows architecture with extensive use of XML services using the latest technologies.
Mallory’s warehouse management solution is called Logimax. Logimax provides the versatility needed to perform public or contract warehouse services controlling inventory across multiple warehouses for multiple customers.
Logimax provides inventory management capabilities and services, shipping and receiving capabilities and is integrated with our global freight management solution for our multi-service customers. Logimax is fully RF-enabled, manages barcode labeling operations both standard and customizable, auto-fax and e-mail, provides support for RFID. Additional capabilities include customizable cycle counts, designated put-away, product rotation, substitutions, low stock alerts, etc. Typical EDI support includes 856, 940, 943, 944, and 945 transactions sets.
Mallory offers our warehouse customers access to LogiWeb, our web-based WMS portal. Authorized users have access to view Inventory, receipts, and deliveries online.
Mallory understands the importance of business continuity and disaster recovery in a global supply chain environment. That is why all Mallory systems are housed within industry standard data centers. All Mallory mission-critical systems located within our primary data center are continuously replicated to our backup data center located in another region of the country. These two centers replicate mission critical data utilizing high availability disk arrays. Both centers are capable of providing core services, systems, and network technologies to ensure we are optimized for disaster recovery and business continuity. Additionally, we deploy the latest is Cisco network hardware to protect and defend our data systems through proactive monitoring for attacks and threat isolation.
