CSMS was released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), with guidance on additional steel derivative products subject to the Section 232 50% tariffs. These changes are effective for goods entered for use or withdrawn from a warehouse for use on and after 12:01am ET on June 23, 2025.

Newly Added Steel Derivative Products Subject to Tariffs: 

  • Combined refrigerator-freezers 
  • Freezers (chest and upright) 
  • Dishwashers 
  • Washing machines 
  • Dryers (small and large) 
  • Food waste disposals 
  • Cooking stoves, ranges, and ovens 
  • Welded wire racks 

 

Note: Welded wire racks also remain subject to aluminum-related tariffs under Proclamation 10895.
