A CSMS was released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), with guidance on additional steel derivative products subject to the Section 232 50% tariffs. These changes are effective for goods entered for use or withdrawn from a warehouse for use on and after 12:01am ET on June 23, 2025.
Newly Added Steel Derivative Products Subject to Tariffs:
- Combined refrigerator-freezers
- Freezers (chest and upright)
- Dishwashers
- Washing machines
- Dryers (small and large)
- Food waste disposals
- Cooking stoves, ranges, and ovens
- Welded wire racks
Note: Welded wire racks also remain subject to aluminum-related tariffs under Proclamation 10895.
