President Trump announced via social media new tariffs effective October 1, 2025, on pharmaceuticals, furniture, and heavy trucks.

• Pharmaceuticals:

  • 100% tariff on branded and patented drugs imported into the U.S.

  • Exemption for companies currently building or constructing U.S. manufacturing plants.

• Furniture:

  • 50% tariff on kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and related products.

  • 30% tariff on upholstered furniture.

• 25% tariff on imports of heavy trucks.
