On July 7, 2025, President Trump signed an executive order officially extending the temporary suspension of increased IEEPA reciprocal tariffs until August 1, 2025. This decision allows current reduced duty rates (10%) to remain in place beyond the original July 9 expiration date.
The extension applies to most major U.S. trade partners listed in previous orders, excluding China, which remains under a separate tariff suspension policy. The situation remains fluid as trade discussions continue and tariff policy could shift again.
