USTR Seeks Public Input Ahead of 2026 USMCA Review

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) is inviting public comments ahead of the first Joint Review of the USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement) scheduled for July 1, 2026.

This review will determine whether the three countries will extend the agreement for another 16 years. USTR is seeking feedback on the agreement’s effectiveness, compliance issues, investment climate, and strategies to strengthen North American trade and competitiveness.

Key Deadlines:

Nov. 3, 2025 – Deadline to submit comments or request to speak at the public hearing.
Nov. 17, 2025 – Public hearing in Washington, DC.
Seven days after hearing – Deadline for rebuttal comments.
